LCS Week 8 day 3 Live results: Which teams will secure playoffs?

#News

Which teams will make the six-team playoffs and which teams will fall just short?

Business is picking up in week 8 of the LCS. As it stands, seven teams have the ability to move up or down in the standings. Only Cloud9 and FlyQuest have locked their ticket to the playoffs, but even they have not locked their seeding in the race towards the Mid-Season Invitational.
Although best-of-ones is seen as an outdated format for the LCS, today is one of the rare occasions where every game matters. Each game has playoff implications, whether that's C9 and FLY fighting it out for first place, or TSM looking to keep their playoff hopes alive, tiebreakers are on the horizon and esports.gg is here to bring you the action.
LIVE: Following Counter Logic Gaming's upset victory over Cloud9, TSM were eliminated from playoff contention prior to their match against FlyQuest. Here is the six confirmed teams for the playoffs:
  • FlyQuest
  • Cloud9
  • Evil Geniuses
  • 100 Thieves
  • Golden Guardians
  • Counter Logic Gaming
At the time of writing this article, the regulated games are still ongoing. However, there will be at least three tiebreakers including the battle for first between Cloud9 and FlyQuest.
