Swarm is the latest League of Legends PvE game mode. Players have been eagerly waiting for this game mode since it was teased earlier this year, and it's finally almost here!
When is the Swarm game mode coming to League of Legends?
The Swarm PvE game mode will go live on July 17, 2024 with League of Legends patch 14.14. Players will be able to play the game mode until August 19, 2024.
For players on the EUW, EUN, RU, MEA, and TR regions, Swarm is live at 15:00 UTC. Players on other regions will have Swarm at 18:00 UTC.
Is Swarm multiplayer?
Yes! You can play with up to three friends and fight the Primordians alongside them.
Playable champions in Swarm
The playable champions are Riven, Jinx, Leona, Seraphine, Briar, Yasuo, Illaoi, Xayah, and the newest champion Aurora.

What is the Swarm game mode?
Swarm is a PvE game mode in League of Legends, meaning you will be fighting against computer-controlled enemies. However, far from the gameplay of base League of Legends, Swarm uses the WASD control scheme.
Reminiscent of other "bullet heaven" titles such as Vampire Survivors and Holocure, Swarm powers you up the longer you play. Collect and upgrade your weapons each run to mow down the enemies. Players can also permanently augment themselves by purchasing permanent buffs that persist across runs.
The goal is to wipe out enemies, complete missions, and survive for as long as you can against the enemies: the Primordians. They are the harbingers of the next evolution event, and the Anima Squad needs to prevent them from extinguishing humanity. The Swarm gamemode features several boss fights against the Primordian leaders. Can you beat the final boss?
Swarm goes live in League of Legends patch 14.14, scheduled for July 17, 2024.
