MSI 2023: A visitor’s guide

If you’re struggling to put together a plan for MSI, then don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with our visitor’s guide.

If you're in need of some help to prepare for the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2023) in London, then never fear. We've got you. Esports.gg has put together a MSI 2023 visitor's guide!

MSI 2023: Getting to the arena

Depending on where you are traveling from, there are various recommendations for getting to the arena. If you are arriving via St. Pancras International, you can hop on the Victoria Line to Highbury and Islington. Change for the over ground and get off at Hackney Wick station. From there, it's a five-minute walk if you follow the signs.

Alternatively, if you are coming from other parts of London, you may find it easier to go to Canary Warf and get on a tube heading to Stratford. Once at Stratford station, you can follow the signs and walk to the arena. This is roughly a fifteen-minute walk, but can be more convenient than traveling to Highbury and Islington. For more information on the arena, visit the official website.

MSI 2023: Doors opening times and time allowances for arrival

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. BST with matches starting at 1 p.m. BST The recommendation would be allowing an additional 15 to 30 minutes. Depending on where you are coming from, it can be a long walk and you might want to take in the view of the Olympic Park. Alternatively, you can just run to join the queue.

MSI 2023: All things local food

No need for embarrassing tummy grumbles with many delicious places to grab a bite. You can walk into the Olympic Park for food, eat at the venue, or grab a bite on the way. There are plenty of places to pick up some food. But if none of these work, then it's a quick journey back into Zone 1 Central London to pick up something else.

MSI 2023: Items to bring with you

While there is nothing super essential to bring with you, you may wish to bring something for players to sign if you come across them. We recommend a cushion as plastic chairs aren't the most comfortable things to sit on. Of course, bring money as we are expecting a merch stand. Finally, a must-have is your energy and regional pride!

This is going to be such an incredible event and something to be excited about. Bring your energy, assorted energy drinks if required, and don't forget a team jersey if feasible!

MSI 2023: Getting home

Similarly to getting to the arena, you can take the tube back to the appropriate station or hop on a London bus. If you are feeling extremely extravagant, you can also get a London cab home. See you at MSI London!
