It’s game on for Shopify Rebellion in the LCS for 2024 and game over for TSM’s journey in the LCS.
The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) 2024 season is going to see a new team hit the rift with some familiar faces. It's the return of the TSM roster under a new banner! Here are the details for Shopify Rebellion and LCS 2024.
What is Shopify Rebellion?
Shopify Rebellion is a fairly new esports organization, first entering the esports scene back in 2021. However, its two years in esports have been incredibly busy with teams in Halo, Rocket League, VALORANT, and more.

A big part of Shopify Rebellion's branding is based on being the underdogs, being scrappy and messy, and being willing to rebel. According to the organization's website, it's all about "not building an empire, we are arming the rebels," and this is something new and exciting for the LCS. It looks like Shopify Rebellion is going to shake things up.
Why are they adopting the former TSM roster?
Sadly for TSM fans, the arrival of Shopify Rebellion is also the departure of TSM from the LCS. TSM sold their LCS slot to Shopify Rebellion. In doing so, Shopify Rebellion adopted the former TSM roster and enabled the players to not only continue playing in the LCS, but continue playing together as one coherent team as opposed to going their separate ways.
The former TSM roster and current Shopify Rebellion roster is:

- Jungle - Lee "Bugi" Seong-yeop
- Mid - David "Insanity" Challe
- Bot - Jason "WildTurtle" Tran
- Support - Johnathan "Chime" Pomponio
What does this mean for the LCS in 2024?
The addition of Shopify Rebellion signifies that the 2024 LCS just got a whole lot more interesting. We might be saying goodbye to an old friend that's TSM, but we are welcoming and making new memories with Shopify Rebellion.
