A new Exalted skin was dropped on the PBE, just a few days before Exalted Fractured Jinx launches in-game. Isn’t it too soon, Riot Games?
The next Exalted skin, belonging to a new category of very exclusive and expensive skins, dropped on the public beta environment (PBE). This caused some fuss online since Riot Games, in their statement about this new skin rarity, said: "Exalted skins are what happens when we let our teams cook, pushing our design and tech capabilities to make the best possible skin for each champion's unique fantasy within a specific theme".
New Exalted Skin: Radiant Serpent Sett
The next champion with an Exalted skin after Jinx - which is set to drop in the next days - is Sett. This was confirmed by some testers who noticed the "animated splash in the client". We can see a clear inspiration of the Lunar Year festivities which celebrates the turning of the lunar calendar.
Not good, too soon, "too raw"
As for the fans' earlier reactions to this skin, they were not positive. Some players quoted the Riot Games developers' note and said it was too ironic that the new Exalted skin came so quickly. SkinSpotlights talked on X saying that the skin is "cheap recolors", has the "usual voice lines for a legendary [skin]," and compared it to the Jinx skin that had many more voice lines.
This user even added how you can't set Jinx as a benchmark that isn't "even worth it" and then "release something worse than it at the same time you say is the best you can do and pushing things". Other users pointed out how weak these late skins have been lately. A player even said how they should be, at least, closer to Odyssey Kayn or Elementalist Lux.

A new crisis in skin production?
Some players are afraid about how this can turn out to be a standard in the new skin lines. "One exalted skin that is **** and overpriced, one good skin that has the same standard as before, four 2010-standard skin so they can give "free" skins and appease everyone when they sell a $500 skin", a player wrote on X.
This can be a reflection of a deeper problem. In October, many League of Legends workers were laid off, something that might be affecting the skin production line.
Players, fans, and lovers of the game demand more investment in product quality instead of speed. There's no information about the launching of the new Exalted Sett skin in-game.
