Here are the Worlds 2025 draws that gave teams an easy Knockouts ticket or made them say, “God has abandoned us, but we will enjoy it.”
The League of Legends 2025 World Championship Swiss Stage gave some teams a relatively easy ticket to knockouts. However, due to some upsets that happened in the early part of Worlds 2025, some runs seemed doomed from the start. Here are the teams that got the best and worst draws at the Swiss Stage of Worlds 2025.
Best Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage draws
The western teams still put up a good fight, though.
KT Rolster

LCK third seed KT Rolster had great draws. Considering they are already a strong squad, they were bound to have a competitive run in Worlds. However, drawing Movistar KOI and Team Secret Whales in the 0-0 and 1-0 phases certainly helped.
Their only real challenge was Top Esports, whom they swept 2-0 to advance to the Knockout Stage. Thanks to their performances and a little bit of luck, KT Rolster became the only team in Worlds 2025 to have a 100% winrate in the Swiss Stage.
T1

Defending back-to-back world champions T1 also had a favorable draw in the Swiss Stage. Their only unfortunate draw for this event was getting their regional rivals Gen.G Esports in the 1-1 stage. Also, nobody expected CTBC Flying Oyster to claim the best-of-one against T1. Other than these teams that gave them trouble, the rest of their draw was solely composed of Western teams: FlyQuest, 100 Thieves, and Movistar KOI.
It's also worth noting that T1 did not encounter any LPL team in the Swiss Stage, and that their upcoming quarterfinal match against Anyone's Legend will be the first time we see them go against a Chinese team.
FlyQuest

LTA's first seed FlyQuest drew all three LCP representatives. They picked up wins against Vivo Keyd Stars and Team Secret Whales, but buckled at the do-or-die series against CTBC Flying Oyster. That wasn't even the toughest part yet; they drew T1 and G2 Esports, too.
Their two wins were practically free due to the skill gap, but throwing leads and losing the series against CTBC Flying Oyster meant that there were going to be no LTA representatives in the Knockout Stage. At least we got to see a matchup against the first seeds of LTA and LEC.
Bilibili Gaming

Like FlyQuest, BLG also had some luck on their side, but couldn't manage to pick up the win when they needed it.
Coming in as the LPL first seed, BLG was not a bad team at all and was considered one of the favorites heading into the tournament. So, when they drew 100 Thieves, Fnatic, G2 Esports, and Vivo Keyd Stars, you'd expect them to win against at least three of them. This was not the case, as they dropped the ball against 100T and G2.
At the final hurdle, BLG was teamkilled by Top Esports in the 2-2 match.

Anyone's Legend

LPL second seed Anyone's Legend may have gone through Swiss Stage with a 3-0 record, but don't let that fool you. They had extremely difficult draws, having to go up against both Hanwha Life Esports and Gen.G. Now, T1 stands in their way in the quarterfinals, marking the third LCK team they have to fight in this tournament.
The only LCK team they have yet to face is KT Rolster, but since they are on the opposite side of the bracket, the two teams can only meet in the Grand Final.
100 Thieves

100 Thieves also had a difficult draw at Worlds 2025. Their incredible upset against Bilibili Gaming in the 0-0 stage definitely helped them, but their entire Worlds run was an LCK/LPL gauntlet.
After BLG, they had to face Top Esports, then Hanwha Life Esports, then T1.
PSG Talon

The LCP third seed was already the underdog in Worlds 2025, and their horrendous draw only added to this sentiment. They had to go against Gen.G and HLE back-to-back. Their only "easy" matchup, against VKS in the 0-2 stage, they were unable to pick up and had to make an exit winless.
Movistar KOI

MKOI were LEC's second out of the region's three seeds. MKOI put on a performance and reached the 2-2 stage, where they fell against T1. Yes, this was a difficult draw, but MKOI's misfortune was not in facing difficult opponents. Rather, it lay in having to face the two other LEC representatives in G2 and Fnatic. To add salt to the wound, they even caused FNC's elimination.
Their first match was against KT Rolster, but this was essentially negated after an easy win against Team Secret Whales.
