Day 2 of the League of Legends Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage will see the Eastern Empire hope to remain dominant, while NA and EU hope to keep up.

The League of Legends Swiss Stage at Worlds heads into Day 2 today, with another eight best-of-one series to witness. Day 1 saw every LCK team apart from Hanwha Life Esports manage to take their first win, while the LEC struggled to keep up. However, there is still a long road ahead for these teams, and Day 2 offered a chance at redemption for some, while others hoped to pull ahead and advance to the best-of-three stage.

Here is a summary of everything that happened on Day 2 of the Swiss Stage at Worlds 2025.

Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage Day 2 matchups, schedule, and results

Much like Day 1, every series on Day 2 would be a best-of-one series. However, this time the teams that had won on Day 1 would be fighting against one another, while those that lost met their counterparts. The rewards for keeping a winning record would be heading into Day 3’s best-of-three series. Those that end Day 2 with a 1-1 scoreline head through to more best-of-ones on Saturday, while the teams without a win move into dreaded elimination matchups.

With a lot to play for this early, the teams would be bringing out everything they can when there is only one game to decide their future fate.

All games will be streamed via the LoL Esports YouTube channel and the official Riot Games Twitch channels.

FlyQuest vs Vivo Keyd Stars

Two LTA Championship teams got everything underway for Day 2 of the Swiss Stage at Worlds 2025. Song “Quad” Soo-hyung’s Viktor was the most surprising pick from the draft, giving the champ his first showing on the Worlds stage this year. With some failed early game aggression, VKS fell behind. This was not helped by a Rift Herald fight going the way of Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau’s Mordekaiser.

An Ace from FQ soon after taking Atakhan would see Fly take complete control, before their patience secured them the Baron and eventually the game.

Team Secret Whales vs KT Rolster

Next the attention turned to the winner’s bracket, with TSW and KT both looking to secure a spot in Day 3’s best-of-three series. While TSW secured much of the early game, KT was far more careful in their plays. When the skirmishes settled, KT showed the continued strength of the LCK to secure their 2-0 standing.

The loss also means that Jarvan IV, currently the most picked champion of the tournament already, sits at a 0% win rate after 8 picks. Here's hoping that everyone's Crystal Ball pick is correct.

G2 vs MKOI

A battle of the LEC would be our next stop, with MKOI taking on G2 Esports. After a scary early game saw Javier “Elyoya” Prades Batalla’s Wukong getting ahead, G2 finally began to wake up. Once G2 had control, MKOI were in disarray, and the game quickly got away from them. Steven "Hans Sama" Liv's Yunara ripped through MKOI to secure the win for G2 and take them up to 1-1.

Top Esports vs 100 Thieves

Having already taken down Bilibili Gaming on Day 1, 100 Thieves were back against the LPL once more on Day 2 in the Swiss Stage at Worlds 2025, this time facing Top Esports. Unfortunately for 100T, today would not go the same, as TES was firing on all cylinders.

Between the damage from Lin "Creme" Jian’s Ryze and Wenbo "JackeyLove" Yu’s Yunara, 100T were outclassed at every turn, as TES went up 2-0 in the Swiss Stage.

CTBC Flying Oyster vs T1

CTBC Flying Oyster last met T1 at MSI 2025, where they narrowly succumbed to the reigning Worlds champions in a thrilling 5-match affair. Now, the number 1 seed of the LCP was hoping to cause a big upset with only a best-of-one to decide things. CFO instantly threw a spanner into the works, as they drafted Draven for Chiu “Doggo” Tzu-chuan as the ADC. Without wasting time, CFO took the game straight to T1 early on. But it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, with Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok gifted a triple kill in return.

However, CFO continued to be in control, not caring about who their opponents might be. Punishing T1 at any and every fight, CFO were relentless. T1 looked to be in complete shambles, without a single response to Draven or the Qiyana from Yu “JunJia” Chun-chia. It was a beautiful showing of strength from the LCP team, as they destroyed T1 and went up 2-0.

An immaculate Draven from Doggo was a sight to behold, as he dominated the matchup, which was never to be expected.

Gen.G vs Anyone’s Legend

Going from one MSI 2025 rematch right into the next, the champions of that event, Gen.G Esports, would be going up against Anyone’s Legend. When it came to team fighting, both teams proved their brilliance at different times. A triple kill from Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk’s Kaisa controlled the first major battle.

But AL turned the entire game around with a fight that secured them both Dragon Soul and Baron in one swift move. With Elder secured a few minutes later, AL converted their objective control into a huge victory. That makes it two LPL teams to go 2-0 on Day 2 of the Swiss Stage at Worlds 2025, while Gen.G joins the 1-1 gang.

Bilibili Gaming vs Fnatic

Another debut champion would come out as Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle opted for a Morgana on Fnatic’s side. But, as BLG was looking to make it three wins for the LPL on Day 2 of the Swiss Stage at Worlds 2025, they quickly made sure it was not going to come out ahead.

It did not take much for BLG to stomp FNC, making up for their poor Day 1 performance.

Hanwha Life Esports vs PSG Talon

For the final best-of-one for Day 2 at the Swiss Stage of Worlds 2025, we had HLE hoping to join most of the LCK teams in the 1-1 bracket. While Talon had a promising start to the game, able to find some decent openings against HLE, once the LCK team found their footing, there was no turning back.

There was no way back in for PSG, as they would unforunately head into the 0-2 bracket, where potential elimination awaited them in the near future.

October 17 brings Day 3 of the Swiss Stage of Worlds 2025. However, we will finally move away from the best-of-one games, if only for a single day. With two best-of-three series on the cards, two teams will make their way into the knockout bracket, one step closer to becoming the Worlds 2025 champions.
