The Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage has given us some insane stats. Did you know all Renata bans were just against one specific team?
The League of Legends 2025 World Championship has concluded its Swiss Stage, with the top eight teams now headed to the playoffs. With over 50 games played in the Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage, here are some interesting facts and statistics that this international event has given us.
First off, the generic stats. 52 games were played in the Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage. There were 20 best-of-ones and 13 best-of-threes. This and the stats below do not include the play-in match between Invictus Gaming and T1.
Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage stats: Champions
A total of 75 unique champions were picked. The top three most-picked champions are Xin Zhao (21 games), K'Sante (19 games), and Alistar (19 games).
22 champions were only picked once. This list includes FLY Alan "Busio" Cwalina's Soraka, Rasmus "Caps" Winther's Anivia, and Lin "Creme" Jian's mid Smolder pick. Draven was picked twice, both by CFO Chiu "Doggo" Tzu-chuan. He won both games.

Interestingly, some champions were banned but not picked. They are:
- Renata Glasc (4 bans) - All bans were against Top Esports. The champion has a 44.4% ban rate against TES this Worlds.
- 100T, BLG, G2, and GEN were the teams that banned her. Only Gen.G was able to pick up a win vs TES in the games where Renata was banned.
- She is one of TES support Fu "Hang" Minghang's signature picks. He has a 100% winrate on the champion across five games this year. Historically, he is 11W-6L on Renata.
- Lee Sin (2 bans)
- VKS banned him in game 3 vs PSG Talon.
- BLG banned him in their Bo1 vs 100T.
- Tristana (2 bans)
- Fnatic banned her twice in their Bo3 vs MKOI.
- MKOI botlaner David "Supa" Martínez García has a 5W-2L career record on Tristana. Six of his seven games were this year.
- Volibear (1 ban)
- FLY banned him in their game 2 vs G2.
- Gwen (1 ban)
- TES banned her in their game 3 vs BLG.
- BLG toplaner Chen "Bin" Zebin has 66 professional games on Gwen with a 65.2% winrate.
- Vex (1 ban)
- VKS banned her in their game 3 vs MKOI. In this game, VKS drafted a full team with dashes (Jayce, Vi, Aurora, Kai'Sa, Leona).
- MKOI midlaner Joseph "Jojopyun" Pyun has 0 competitive games on Vex.

Player and team stats in Worlds 2025
CTBC Flying Oyster is the first Pacific team in 10 years to make it into the top 8 of Worlds. In Worlds 2015, two Taiwanese teams from the League of Legends Master Series (LMS) made it to the playoffs: ahq e-Sports Club and Flash Wolves. They lost to SK Telecom T1 and Origen, respectively, in the quarterfinals.
- The youngest CFO member, mid laner Tsai "hongQ" Ming-hong, was 8 years old when this happened.
- Their coach, Wong "Chawy" Xing Lei, found humor in the fact that he once again had to face FlyQuest years after his stint coaching for TSM.
There is currently a five-way tie for the most kills in a single game. AD carries are running the event (unsurprisingly) with four out of these five players: MKOI Supa, CFO Doggo, VKS Matheus "Morttheus" Motta, and HLE Park "Viper" Do-hyeon. Bin is the sole top-laner in this five-way tie.
The average CS/min leaderboard for the event is solely composed of ADCs, but none of the players from the five-way tie have the top five highest CS/min stats. Only Gen.G bot laner Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk has a CS/min record higher than 10. He also holds the record for the highest CS/min in a single game. During their match against PSG Talon, his Lucian farmed 302 CS in 27:22 of game time, equating to 11.04 CS/min.

Bilibili Gaming and Movistar KOI are tied for playing the most unique champions at 33. Both teams have played champions that none of the other teams have played:
- BLG: Elise (1 game)
- MKOI: Vayne (2 games), Kassadin, Ahri, Lulu (1 game each).
Only KT Rolster has a 100% win rate in Worlds.
Map stats in Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage
The Cloud Drake is the most-killed Dragon at 47 times, while the Ocean Drake is the least-killed at 23. The stats for all Drakes are as follows:
- Cloud - 47
- Chemtech - 44
- Hextech - 43
- Infernal - 41
- Mountain - 37
- Ocean - 23
Claiming the Dragon Soul has led to a win 100% of the time.
Oddly enough, having 0 Voidgrubs (37.5% WR) has a higher win-rate than 1 Voidgrub (35% WR). This may be due to teams opting to trade the cross-map objective (Drake) and not contesting the Voidgrub, thus avoiding the risk of giving the enemy a lead.
