The game features expansive locations inspired by its original universe. The locations also have smaller maps on them for different Marvel Rival modes.

There are two reasons to get excited about maps in Marvel Rival. First of all, it feels great to visit these recreations of iconic locations. If you are a Marvel fan, you’ll find it thrilling to just be here.

Also, the Marvel Rival maps have been structured pretty thoughtfully for your shooting game needs. Each has a clever web of routes to rotate around, confuse your opponents, and strike unexpectedly. The game maps have other interesting gameplay elements, such as high grounds to control specific areas or destructible environment elements to gain an extra advantage for your team.

All of the maps in Marvel Rivals are connected to specific game modes. For example, you have the Tokyo 2099 location divided into a few maps with different objectives. In this article, we highlight all the Marvel Rival locations, maps on them, and the game modes you can play there.

Tokyo 2099: Marvel Rival maps

You jump into the future in this map! The city is filled with neon lights and skyscrapers. At the same time, it’s Japan, so some traditional buildings can be found here and there.

Playing shooting games in such places feels great. You can always find an obstacle to hide behind or a narrow passageway to sneak into.

Tokyo 2099 is a big location in Marvel Rival. It includes the following maps.

Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya — Convergence

The map combines traditional Japanese buildings and many futuristic elements, like robots and flying cars.

It’s a good place to play Marvel Rivals Convergence, which is a mix of Convoy (moving a vehicle) and Domination (controlling a mission area). Both Attackers and Defenders will have a lot of opportunities to implement their tricky game strategies in Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya.

Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands — Convoy

This part of Tokyo 2099 is more about the traditional Japanese scenery. You play inside a big temple. It has quite a few buildings to hide in and some open areas to battle your opponents.

The game mode on the Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands Marvel Rivals map is Convoy, so your team needs to take the movable vehicle to the final destination or prevent the opponents from doing this.

Tokyo 2099: Warped Ninomaru — Conquest

This map within the city of Tokyo 2099 joins the game on the Marvel Rivals launch, so it wasn’t playable during the testing period.

Moreover, Tokyo 2099: Warped Ninomaru is the only map so far to play Conquest mode on. You need to kill your opponents and collect their coins to earn kill points for your team.

The map features destructible objects and portals that absorb debris.

Yggsgard: All maps in Marvel Rivals

This location looks like a magical place, with all the statues and fancy buildings. It’s a realm of gods, and Marvel Rivals players have some separate maps to enjoy shooting matches.

Yggsgard: Royal Palace — Domination

Teams battle inside the Royale Palace. The map is featured in the Domination game mode, so the main task is to take control of objective points.

The control zones are different in new rounds, and you need to change your approach. Most objective points are within the building, and various corridors lead to them. The interiors are marvelous, and with your Marvel Rivals characters, you really have a chance to feel like a mighty god here.

Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path — Convoy

On this Marvel Rivals map, you step outside, to the streets. They are narrow and curvy to make the task of moving the vehicle tricky and interesting.

Attackers should not group around the vehicle. Ambushes around the path are essential to stop Defenders. To reach their checkpoint and the final destination, Defenders should use the Yggdrasill Path features cleverly: including proper actions for different Marvel Rivals roles.

Klyntar in Marvel Rivals

The actions of Marvel Rivals teleport to a dark laboratory cave surrounded by weird mushroom-like plants and unfriendly buildings. It’s Klyntar, a prison planet.

Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface — Convergence

While playing the Convergence game mode on the Marvel Rivals map Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface, you need to use the alive planet to your advantage.

The surrounding surface responds to players’ actions. For example, it can create new paths to let you take an area under your control. Not only do you need to learn the map properly, but you also should experiment with various options here.

Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda

It's a futuristic city lies under the wonderfully beautiful sky with huge planets clearly visible among the stars. People have developed advanced technology, but the true might comes from their hearts.

When you destroy something here, this unleashes the powers of Wakanda’s gods. May they bring you victory!

Hydra Charteris Base: The Marvel Rivals playable maps

With this Marvel Rivals map, players travel to Antarctica, and even to the deep volcanic core of the frozen land. Hydra has found this place underneath the Charteris Base. Some pretty evil plans have been born in the heart of that creature.

Hydra Charteris Base: Hell's Heaven — Domination

You can play Domination mode here. It’s one of the most unusual maps in Marvel Rivals, as the surrounding terrains change throughout the match.

Players must take the unstable location into account when they plan the strategies for capturing the objective points.
