There are a few free skins you can get for your characters, if you know where to look. One of them in Marvel Rivals is a completely free Thor costume known as Reborn from Ragnarok. All players can add it to their collection.
You just have to complete a slew of challenges during Season 1. A set of objectives and story-themed missions called Midnight Features are available for you to do. Finish them up and the free Thor costume is yours.
How to obtain Thor's Reborn from Ragnarok costume for free in Marvel Rivals
The Midnight Features newspaper missions are themed around Season 1's story. Vampires have taken over one universe's version of New York City. Mister Fantastic and other geniuses within Marvel's catalog have to band together to stop Dracula.
With a focus on the Fantastic Four and the new Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown map, you'll have to put some time in with them to complete the challenges. But that's how you get it down:
- Open Marvel Rivals
- Go to the Season tab
- Select Event to view the Midnight Features section
- Click on an Investigation to see what challenges are required
- Complete each challenge for all five chapters to unlock the costume
You don't have to purchase the event or the Battlepass to get the free Thor costume in Marvel Rivals. You just have to put in the work and play.
