Esports World Cup Free Fire: Dates, prize pool, teams, and more

Eighteen teams will compete in Riyadh this summer.

The inaugural Esports World Cup welcomes Free Fire esports as part of its various lineup. The popular mobile title will see a massive prize pool distributed to the best Free Fire squads in the world. It will be in an offline setting located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. More about the event below!

When is the Esports World Cup Free Fire dates?

At the Esports World Cup, Free Fire will run from July 10 to 14. The tournament begins with the Group Stage, starting July 10 to 12. The Finals phase will then conclude the tournament from July 13 to 14. It will be a complete five days of action-packed tournament.

What is the total prize pool?

Esports World Cup will allocate $1 million in prize money for Free Fire. This is one of the largest prize pools in the game's history. The current record for the highest Free Fire prize pool is $2 million which was offered at the 2021 Free Fire World Series in Singapore. The complete prize pool distribution has yet to be revealed.

How do teams qualify?

A total of 18 Free Fire squads will make it to the event. These teams are to qualify via five local tournaments and the ESL Free Fire Snapdragon Pro Series. Here is how the slots are going to be distributed:

  • x3 FFWS LATAM 2024
  • x3 FFWS Brazil 2024
  • x2 Snapdragon Pro Series
  • x1 MEA Qualifier
  • x1 PK Qualifier

Winner gets a slot to the Free Fire World Series (FFWS)

On top of the mouth-watering prize money, the champion will also earn a slot at the biggest event of the year, the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2024. The FFWS will take place in November live in South America's Brazil.
