These two teams made it to the upper final of MLBB esports M6 World Championship through pretty difficult semis. Who’s better prepared for the next battle?

The competitive fire at the Mobile Legends World Championship is getting even hotter. From 16 teams in the Swiss stage and 8 at the start of the Knockout stage, MLBB M6 reached the final battles with only the top 4 teams left in the tournament. Team Liquid ID and Fnatic ONIC PH had the upper hand, as they were playing in the winners final.

One more win was needed to reach the decisive match of the M6 Championship. Keeping this momentum is a great boost for the players — it may help them win the World Champions title.

Team Liquid ID vs Fnatic ONIC PH: Recap of MLBB M6 Final

When the Fnatic ONIC PH players were winning games, they did it with impressive confidence. It could be an early advantage that snowballed to full domination. Or it could be a turnaround, when FNOP took the control out of the hands of their opponents.

Team Liquid ID managed to win one game, and they gave a nice fight in general. The Fnatic ONIC PH players were just better this time.

Fnatic ONIC PH advances to the grand final of the MLBB M6 World Championship.

Team Liquid ID continues battling in this Mobile Legends esports tournament: but only in the elimination brackets, the lower finals against the winner of the Selangor Red Giants vs Team Spirit match.

Game 1

Fnatic ONIC PH found a few early kills and quickly built their gold advantage in this game. FNOP were ruthless in team fights and tried to secure all the objectives. Team Liquid ID responded by stealing the third Turtle, but that was a minor recovery attempt.

TLID had only Inhibitor turrets remaining at around minute 8. And they were 10k gold down. All those turrets were destroyed at minute 10.

Fnatic ONIC PH did not prolong this suffering of their opponents. FNOP won the starting game of the MLBB M6 final with no deaths at all. It’s quite a statement!

Game 2

The early fights were pretty even in game 2. A small gold advantage went from FNOP to TLID around minute 8. Team Liquid ID used this power wisely. They were effective in fights, and they secured the first Lord. That siege took down two tier 2 turrets of Fnatic ONIC PH.

Team Liquid ID won a very close fight around the second Lord. They did not overstep in the second siege attempt as well. One Inhibitor turret was enough for them this time.

Fnatic ONIC PH tried to battle around the third Lord, and that was a fatal failure. With a few opponents down, Team Liquid ID easily destroyed their base and won game 2.

Game 3

Fnatic ONIC PH delivered their first impressive strike in a fight around the second Turtle: they got the objective and three kills. A bit later, the same was the result of securing the third Turtle for FNOP.

Map control was a decent reward for these early successes. The Fnatic players secured the Lord, while Team Liquid decided to trade the objective for a tier 2 turret.

The very first siege attempt let Fnatic ONIC PH destroy all the turrets of their opponents and a few very impressive kills. The fall of the base was inevitable.

Game 4

The advantage swayed between the teams at the start of game 4. Team Liquid ID and Fnatic ONIC PH got their chunks of gold and kills.

A fight around the third Turtle went wrong for TLID. It’s not a situation Team Liquid wanted to be in the final of MLBB M6. They lost two big clashes and found themselves 5k gold down.

Fnatic ONIC PH secured the first Lord, and no TLID turrets at all remained standing after that siege. After a short reset, FNOP got themselves an uncontested Lord and went for the ultimate prize of this match. First, the Fnatic ONIC PH players made sure they killed every opponent and only then destroyed their base.

Shaky path at the M6 World Championship

Both teams had ups and downs during their run to the MLBB M6 upper final.

Team Liquid ID experienced two losses in the Swiss stage of the Mobile Legends esports tournament. In Round 3, TLID lost to Team Spirit. And in Round 1, Team Liquid lost to their upper final opponents, Fnatic ONIC PH.

The Knockout stage started for Team Liquid ID with a revenge. They confidently defeated Team Spirit in the upper quarter-final. The semi-final was much tougher. TLID won two starting games, but then their opponents, RRQ Hoshi almost delivered a full reverse sweep. In the decisive game, Team Liquid recovered and earned their upper final spot.

Fnatic ONIC PH finished the MLBB M6 Swiss stage smoothly — no matches lost, and only one game went for Fnatic’s opponents, BloodThirstyKings.

The opening match of the Knockout stage was super successful for FNOP as well. They defeated Selangor Red Giants. The semi-final opponents, Falcon Esports, were much more difficult. Both teams had confident and close wins. Only from the decisive game 5, Fnatic ONIC PH advanced to the M6 upper final.

The winners of the upper final proceed directly to the MLBB M6 grand final. The losers of this match have to make it through the lower final. For all Mobile Legends: Bang Bang news and updates, stick around on esports.gg.
