ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and Qualcomm Technologies Inc. have welcomed Electronic Arts (EA) into the Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) following a record-breaking SPS Year 3. The SPS and EA partnership introduces EA SPORTS FC Mobile to the SPS lineup. Delivered by EFG and Qualcomm Technologies Inc., the SPS is a mobile esports competition that features games such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and now EA's football title.
SPS Year 3 achieves multiple milestones
According to the announcement, SPS Year 3 shattered multiple viewership, participation, and engagement milestones ahead of SPS Season 6. For example, the official broadcasts of SPS Season 5 achieved 235 million views and 23 million hours watched. Additionally, on a global scale, the SPS ecosystem saw "2.8 million unique participants to date across nearly 61,000 unique teams."
The SPS Mobile Challenge Finals MLBB event, in particular, became one of the most-watched SPS events in history. It not only boasted over 65,000 visitors onsite, but also 888,710 peak concurrent viewers online. The event reached over 11.8 million hours watched as well, the announcement stated.
"Mobile esports isn’t the future – it’s the now,” Sam Braithwaite, the vice president of mobile game ecosystems at EFG, said. "After facilitating nearly 1 billion matches during Year 2, we’re already engaging nearly 2.8 million players globally across seven of the biggest mobile titles. As we enter Season 6 in regions around the world, there’s never been a better time to step into the mobile arena."

Following these milestones, the SPS welcomed EA SPORTS FC Mobile to the competitive scene in Latin America (LATAM). The SPS: EA SPORTS FC Mobile Open Qualifiers are now open for registration, and the Qualifier Finals will happen on Nov. 10 and Nov. 17 via a live broadcast on ESL Mobile's Twitch and YouTube channels.
Competitive EA SPORTS FC Mobile heads to Brazil
Then, between Dec. 14 and Dec. 15, the SPS will get its inaugural EA SPORTS FC Mobile live event. LATAM Snapdragon Mobile Challenge 2024 will take place in São Paulo, Brazil.
