Sylvanas becomes split leader in Warcraft Rumble

As a split leader in Warcraft Rumble, Sylvanas belongs to the Horde and Undead families. This is quite fitting of the Dark Lady, since she once led the Horde and Undead in the World of Warcraft universe.

How split leaders work in Warcraft Rumble

Since Sylvanas is a split leader in Warcraft Rumble now, she lets players earn Sigil progress and the Family Tome for both families upon completing a Heroic Mission. Additionally, like the other split leader units, completing an Arclight Surge with this unit awards Family Crests split 50/50 between the two families. Split leaders can also be used in either family's dungeon weeks. In terms of Dungeon Relics and the effects tied to specific families, they apply to both of a split leader's families.

As for the player-versus-player (PvP) side of things, split leaders do not affect PvP progress. Other things to note about these units are the following, as stated by Blizzard:

  • Split Leaders will show up on the G.R.I.D. during both families' dungeon weeks.
  • Split Leader will appear in XP Tomes across both families.
  • Split Leaders [fulfill] challenge requirements for both [families] during events.

More Warcraft Rumble split leaders

In addition to Sylvanas, players can look forward to more split leaders coming soon. These include Orgrim Doomhammer, who belongs to the Horde and Blackrock families, Anub’arak, who is aligned with Undead and Beast, and Malfurion Stormrage, who represents the Alliance and Cenarion.
