The power of Mortal Kombat Demi Gods unleashes itself in Brazil. The best players from the region and beyond gather to battle for the top leaderboard placements.

The competitive intensity of Pro Kompetition 2025 increases substantially as the community moves deeper into the league’s schedule. Not so many top-tier tournaments are here to provide pro players with big portions of standing points. In fact, the official Mortal Kombat 1 esports league features only three more Demi God events, and MK1 gamescom LATAM is one of them.

SonicFox does not miss this chance to boost themselves to the top 1 on the global leaderboard. The legendary player attends this tournament in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Grr from the US is on the grind, as the guy travels to all offline MK1 events of this circuit. gamescom LATAM certainly can strengthen its position within the top 8!

The local competitors do not lose the chance to have fun playing Mortal Kombat and secure high Pro Kompetition 2025 placements for their region. Nicolas, who won MK1 Combo Breaker 2024, and his twin brother Scorpionprocs, who is the Evo 2022 Champion, are among the most prominent figures among the MK1 gamescom LATAM participants.

Everything about this harsh tournament is here: the stream, some details, and final results. It sure is a bloodbath in terms of the stakes and the fighting action.

The results of MK1 gamescom LATAM

Winning this MK1 esports tournament means getting a big boost on the global leaderboard.

Kanimani from Turkey occupies the top 1 spot after his win at viennality 2k25. Pro Kompetition 2025 does a great job bringing tournaments to the main Mortal Kombat regions, so local players have a chance to prove themselves. Kanimani does not travel to grind the points, so he will most likely lose his leadership after gamescom LATAM.

SonicFox enters the event as the 2nd player on the leaderboard, thanks to his wins at MK1 Pro Kompetition Mexico and Texas Showdown 2025. This should change after the grand final. Nicolas and Scorpionprocs are beyond the top 8 qualification zone. However, with MK1 gamescom LATAM, they have a chance to secure their spot at the Final Kombat 2025 event.
