SonicFox won during Pride Month!
The Mortal Kombat Pro Kompetition 2023-24 circuit has concluded with Dominique "SonicFox" McLean emerging as its champion! From June 14 to June 16, the legendary player battled against a series of formidable opponents, steadily advancing to the top. Read on for the Final Kombat 2024 results and for what SonicFox had to say about their victory!
Final Kombat 2024 results
After earning a spot in the Final Kombat Group Stage, SonicFox battled foe after foe in Group A. Their commanding performance resulted in going 4-0, which advanced them to the Final Kombat Top 8 phase alongside Faysal "Faysalkombat" Mawlawi. There, they duked it out against Jordan "VideoGamezYo" James, Daniel "TheMightyUnjust" Taibot, and Jarrad "NinjaKilla212" Gooden. SonicFox swept them all 3-0.
SonicFox looked unstoppable throughout the upper bracket. However, when it came down to the grand final, they went 2-3 against Nicolas. The latter player climbed his way back up to top and claimed victory against SonicFox, which led to a grand final reset. In this Johnny Cage and Khameleon mirror match, SonicFox did not relent, earning a score of 3-0 once more to be crowned the Final Kombat 2024 champion! Check out their winning moment below!
Fans and supporters at the Toronto Metropolitan University Theater continued to cheer as the top Mortal Kombat 1 players went on stage to receive their medals.
Edward "Ed" Boon himself, the creator of the Mortal Kombat series alongside John Tobias, was there to congratulate everyone as well. Ed Boon was at the event throughout the entire weekend, supporting the passionate Mortal Kombat 1 community filled with folks who traveled to Toronto from around the world.

SonicFox wins Final Kombat 2024 during Pride Month
As SonicFox walked out of the venue, they excitedly gave shoutouts to those who helped them win Final Kombat 2024. They acknowledged other players such as TheMightyUnjust plus their training partner and fellow competitor Zoulfikar "Xombat" Dayekh, the event's attendees, and all of the furries who supported them back home.
"I couldn't have done this without you guys and your support and your love," SonicFox added. "Thank you so much."
After some trash talk, the player made more posts on social media, noting an expansion into TEKKEN 8 and how they are currently a free agent.
"With Final Kombat being over, now I can expand my endeavors into Tekken," SonicFox wrote. "You’ll see me being a menace there real soon."
