How old is Vendetta in Overwatch 2?
Vendetta's birthday is on Feb. 15. She's a 29-year-old character and the latest addition to the damage roster in Overwatch 2. Interestingly, Feb. 15 marked the Februa festival. The festival gave February its name and linked the month to themes of cleansing and renewal. This festival was then called the Lupercal festival in Ancient Rome. This involved a wolf-associated rite that happened in the Palatine Hill and Lupercal. Lupercal was the cave where the she-wolf nursed Romulus and Remus.
An interview with esports.gg indicates that Vendetta's Feb. 15 birthday was intentional. In the interview, Overwatch 2 game director Aaron Keller referenced Romulus and Remus, and senior narrative designer Jude Stacey hinted at the significance behind the date.
Basically, Feb. 15, Vendetta's "She Wolf" title, and her "Palatine Fang" weapon all connect for a reason.
"I'm a little bit of a history buff, so I do like all of the connections that are the authentic pieces of Vendetta. So anything from the way we designed her sandals to the reference to the wolf, which raised Romulus and Remus in Rome, to her sword based off of the Roman Gladius, which was one of their imperial swords that was common in the legion. So I think all of that is really cool, and it's something that we do for all of our heroes."
Overwatch 2 fixes Sojourn's birthday
On September 23, 2023, the official page for Sojourn updated her age to 51. Previously, her age was listed as 47. Overwatch 2's social media page then revealed Mauga's age and birthday on November 30, 2023. The tank hero is 37 years old. As for Venture, their birthday and age were revealed once they entered Overwatch 2 on April 16, 2024. As for Juno, Freja, and Wuyang, they are 19, 34, and 19, respectively. Vendetta, the latest addition to the game, celebrates her special day on Feb. 15.
Overwatch 2 character birthdays and ages
The title of the youngest omnic hero in Overwatch 2 belongs to Orisa at 1 years old. After Orisa is Echo at 14 and Wrecking Ball at 16. The oldest omnic hero is Zenyatta at 33. As for the human characters, Illari is the youngest hero at 18 while Sigma is the oldest at 64.
