Someone, Florida Mayhem and the Dennis Hawelka Award

Florida Mayhem player Someone received the Dennis Hawelka Award. This award is all about being a positive force on one's team and the Overwatch 2 community. It celebrates the human side of the competition, reminding everyone that being good at video games is just one aspect of what makes a top-tier player.

When asked about what this award means to him, Someone said that it represents getting recognized for how he treats, engages, and interacts with his fans. The player also shared his thoughts about the positive energy within Floridan Mayhem.

"I'm not too sure how my teammates feel about me 'cause we don't really talk about that stuff, but for me, I hope that my teammates felt that positive energy that I really wanted to give out to them," Someone said during the on-stage interview. "And also the communication. We communicate a lot, we talk a lot. So in the game, [when] we have to be serious, we [would] be serious. When it's outside of the game, we could have fun together."
