Is Overwatch 2 getting a Fortnite collaboration?

An Overwatch 2 Fortnite collaboration? What about Overwatch 2 skins in Fortnite? Here's what we know about this potential crossover so far.

According to content creator HYPEX, who regularly posts about Fortnite, a recent in-game survey mentioned the Overwatch franchise. HYPEX shared news of the survey on X, listing Overwatch among many other games.

Other franchises reportedly included in Fortnite's survey were Five Nights at Freddy's (FNAF), Grand Theft Auto (GTA), Hollow Knight: Silksong, Genshin Impact, Minecraft, Mario Kart, Roblox, and Pokémon Go. Marvel Rivals, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, The Sims, and Animal Crossing were listed as well.

OWCavalry, a trusted account by the Overwatch 2 community, made a post about the potential collaboration, too. The account referenced HYPEX's post and even included special artwork featuring Genji and Tracer in Fortnite by T3MTOR!

"Another banger project for the Cavalry!" T3MTOR wrote. "Could've experimented on this forever. Can't wait for the day Overwatch models come to Fortnite so I can finally import them."

Players wasted no time sharing their thoughts on the potential collaboration. One user, lulacelestial, suggested a Winston skin in Fortnite. Meanwhile, bunnimoniOW hoped to see Peely as a playable hero in Overwatch 2.

Perhaps, as OWCavalry noted, Evanylaaa's Banana Ana could represent Peely in Overwatch 2 if the collaboration ever becomes real. Unlike Fortnite skins, which closely replicate existing characters, Overwatch 2 collaborations tend to have heroes cosplaying characters while keeping their own identity.

Overwatch 2 occasionally sends out surveys about potential collaborations, too. For example, in September 2025, a survey reportedly highlighted Monster High-inspired skins, and in July 2025, some players received a survey mentioning franchises such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, League of Legends, and so much more.

Does this mean Overwatch 2 skins will appear in Fortnite in the future? At the time of publishing this article, it's unclear. However, it's fun to speculate and talk about it within both communities.
