What is Hero Mastery mode in Overwatch 2?

As mentioned, the Hero Mastery mode courses involve training bots that let you practice your shooting, dodging, and blocking. These units include Tank Bots, Rocket Bots, and Sniper Bots. While Tank Bots have high health totals and barriers, Rocket Bots deal lots of damage using projectiles. Moreover, Sniper Bots take aim from a long range.

  • Tank Bots = Barriers and high health
  • Rocket Bots = Projectiles and high damage
  • Sniper Bots = Attacks from long range

"These training bots will be strategically placed throughout the map, so you’ll have to figure out how to deal with them as you master each course," Blizzard noted. Additionally, there are scenarios where you must protect your friendly bots from enemies.
