Overwatch 2 reveals new tank hero Hazard in Phreaks trailer

Blizzard just posted a brand-new trailer. Titled "Hazardous Tactics Hazard Hero Trailer," this video teases Hazard as a new Overwatch 2 hero. Hazard is part of the Phreaks faction. Read on for details!

In the Overwatch 2 Phreaks trailer, we see a trio in Oasis University stealing the vanadium isotope mentioned in Moira's emails. Of the trio, Suzy and Hazard or just "Haz" are named, but the third character goes unnamed in both the dialogue and captions.

When the alarms blare and chaos erupts, Hazard and his team quickly find themselves outmatched. As a desperate last resort, Hazard eyes the container holding the vanadium isotope. Suzy warns him about its instability, but Hazard takes the risk. With no other options, Suzy injects him with the substance.

This powers up Hazard, giving him more strength as he battles off the remaining foes. With the fight under control, the trio makes their escape. Graffiti that spells "Phreaks" can be seen in the background as well.

Here is the trailer for Hazard and the Phreaks in Overwatch 2. The Phreaks are a faction in the Overwatch 2 universe that's known for its "punk and revolutionary spirit." Additionally, according to Blizzard, Hazard will be the newest tank hero. He will be playable between Nov. 22 and Nov. 25 before he officially launches in Season 14.

Coincidentally, this will also be the dates of the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) World Finals.
