Overwatch 2 Wuyang lore explained
In Overwatch 2, Wuyang comes from a family that has a legacy with Wuxing University. This school is divided into five colleges, including fire, metal, water, earth, and wood. Wuyang's parents met at the fire college and were its top fighters during the Omnic Crisis.
Meanwhile, Wuyang's older sister, Anran, is a top student there. Wuyang wanted to follow his family's footsteps, but he wasn't admitted to the fire college. Instead, he only got accepted into the water college.
Because of this, Wuyang felt shame and disappointment. Yet he still wanted to stand by his sister's side, so he began studying the lectures from the fire college on his own.
