Overwatch 2’s Season 16 mid-season update is here with another round of Overwatch Classic. This time, we’re heading back to October 2020.
The Overwatch 2 Season 16 mid-season update has arrived alongside another iteration of Overwatch Classic. This time, the game mode brings players back to October 2020. The Overwatch Classic patch is now live in Overwatch 2, throwing things back to the October 2020 update from the original game. This means Baptiste deals more damage and heals more effectively, Brigitte has extra health for better survivability, and Mei regenerates ammo during Cryo-Freeze with a faster Ice Wall cooldown! Meanwhile, Symmetra has stronger shields, Widowmaker is back to her October 2020 self, and so on. Below are our screenshots of every hero's kit in this update.

Overwatch Classic October 2020 event challenges and rewards
In addition to the six-versus-six (6v6) shenanigans in this game mode, there's also a dedicated Overwatch Classic October 2020 event that features lots of free rewards. Notable items for completing these event challenges include an epic loot box plus adorable pachimari player icons for fans of Echo, Baptiste, and Sigma.

There are nine Overwatch Classic October 2020 challenges in total, and players have between May 20 and June 3 to complete them all!
