If you're trying to enter the game and it's not working at all, then the Path of Exile 2 servers might be down. Visit the Path of Exile 2 Status website to see if other players are getting the same error.

While the website isn't officially affiliated with the developers of the title, Grinding Gear Games, it's still a quick way to check the current Path of Exile 2 server status.

You can also visit the game's official social media page on X to check if the Path of Exile 2 servers are back up.

An update made about an hour after the early access' launch on Dec. 6 stated, "Another update, we've found a last minute crash that would have affected a majority of users that we have now fixed and is being deployed, once that's out we will be doing our final checks then opening access."

The post continued, "If there are any further updates we will let you know immediately, once again thank you very much for your patience, we're almost there!"

Additionally, according to game director Jonathan Rogers, the Path of Exile 2 release is "relatively imminent."
