Fans have been clamoring for more content ever since this game's release, and it looks like the things on many players wishlists are coming soon. Pokémon TCG Pocket to add trading, new packs, and more
Pokémon TCG Pocket developers issued an update on X on Nov. 13, where they shared a timeline on when players can expect to be able to trade cards, as well as the release of new packs. According to the post, there is "new content planning to be released in a major future update."
The post goes on to say that new booster packs are coming before 2025, and trading for "certain cards" will be coming in January of 2025. From there, the kinds of cards that can be traded will slowly be expanded, according to developers.

Otherwise, players can expect more in-game events like the Lapras EX one where they will be able to earn cards and other rewards through battles and certain challenges.
This update comes after the game has grown massively in popularity, despite only having three different booster packs to choose from and certain features yet to be added. It shows the demand for more Pokémon among the larger player base, which continues to be an IP with incredible value.
