When will Pokémon TCG Pocket release new packs for players to open?
Been playing Pokémon TCG Pocket, but getting bored of the same three packs? Well, we do know that the game plans on releasing new packs, but when?
Pokémon TCG Pocket: When will the game get new packs?
As of now, there are only three specific packs that players can open in Pokémon TCG Pocket:
- Pikachu pack
- Mewtwo pack
- Charizard pack
While there are only three packs, the cards they hold can be completely random. Each pack has a set of various cards that a player could get after opening them and each pack provides players with random five cards.
But with only a limited amount of cards in the game and three packs for players to choose from, when will more packs be added to the game?

Pokémon TCG Pocket reveals plans for new packs
The popular mobile game released a statement just a few weeks ago, letting fans know that new packs are on the way, but when?
"We plan to add new booster packs by the end of the year," said Pokémon TCG Pocket on its official Twitter account.
They also announced that they will be adding trading to the game by this January, which will allow players to trade cards amongst each other.
What packs will come to the game?
At the moment, the game has yet to reveal what packs will be released before the end of 2024. At the moment, it would make sense for them to theme the packs around Generation II, which could include Cyndaquil, Lugia, Ho-oh and more.
However, this is just speculation and it could be completely different than what we have predicted.
