A huge Game Freak leak has seen several huge pieces of information revealed.
As reported by Pokémon leaker CentroLeaks, Game Freak has been the subject of a major data breach. As a result, there is a huge amount of information currently being sifted through and broken down by the Pokémon community. Here's everything we need to know about this huge Game Freak leak as things stand.
Please note that all information is unverified, with information releasing as leakers work their way through all the information that leaked today.
Pokémon Gen 10 is in the works
While this might not come as a surprise, todays Game Freak leak has officially confirmed that development is under way for the 10th generation of the Pokémon franchise. Codenamed "Gaia" this unannounced game is being developed for two systems at once. That means that the game is currently set to release on both the Nintendo Switch and its successor, the Switch 2.
However, this does not mean that we will absolutely get two versions of the 10th generation Pokémon game. This leak only confirms it is a possibility, and that Game Freak are testing the game on both consoles as things stand.
We also know that there will, as normal, be two versions of this Pokémon game. They are currently abbreviated to Version K and Version N. What could these stand for?
We don't have any confirmed information about when Pokémon Generation 10 will release.
Game Freak leak reveals Switch 2 code name
Another interesting titbit from todays leak is the internal codename of the Switch 2. This console reportedly has the code name "Ounce".

Other Pokémon games in the works
A further bombshell from todays leak is that there is another Pokémon game in development, additional to Legends ZA and Generation 10. Codenamed Synapse, this appears to be a game developed not just by Game Freak, but also by ILCA. It will reportedly be a multiplayer battle-focused game.
Some leakers are describing this as a "splatoon-like game". However, it is not clear exactly which elements of Splatoon could be. Earlier it was reported that this game was going to be an MMO. This has since been proved incorrect, after further examination of files.
Additional Pokémon related leaks today include source codes and beta builds for both Heart Gold/Soul Silver and Black/White 2.
Even the map editor for Generation 3 (Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald) was part of todays Game Freak leak. See a screenshot below.
Further information is likely to emerge over the coming hours and days as people work there way through more and more of the leaked files.
