If you are playing Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you are probably wondering just how you can get yourself that Charizard (or any of the other two Kanto starters). Well, you will be happy to know that all three Kanto starters are acquirable in the new game. Here is how to get the Kanto starters in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
How to get the Kanto starters in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur are all available in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, meaning players can collect them for their team (or just to collect to fill their Pokédex). However, there is a catch to acquiring these historic Pokémon.
First, you can get just one of the Kanto starters once you complete Mission 08. After you defeat Rintaro, you will need to head to a Pokémon Center and heal your team. Then, once your Pokémon are healed, you will get a call from Mable. She will ask you to come to the lab and choose from one of the three Kanto starters.
This will let you acquire one Kanto starter, but what if you want all three? Well, there is still a way to get Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle.
How to catch all 3 Kanto starters
To get all three Kanto starters in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you will have to complete the main storyline first. Once the credits have finished rolling, a new Zone will open up called Zone 20. This Zone has a bunch of rare Pokémon in it, including the three Kanto starters.
It also has the three starters from the beginning of the game, allowing you to expand your team (or fulfill your Pokédex) even more.
