The upcoming Pokémon Gen 10 game has had various leaks online as of recent, but one leak has been standing out from others: the map.
Nothing beats logging into Twitter first thing in the morning and seeing leaks regarding one of your most anticipated upcoming video games. For many Pokémon fans, that excitement hit this morning as a popular (and trusted) Twitter leaker revealed the map for the upcoming Gen 10 Pokémon game, and it looks massive.
Here is what we know.
Map leaked on Twitter for Gen 10 Pokémon games
While the names for the towns and more were not leaked for the upcoming Gen 10 Pokémon games (expected to be announced on February 27, 2026, for Pokémon Day), we were still given a look at the map and what types of areas will be found on each island.
And yes, you read that correctly. It looks like Gen 10 will be made up of islands, but on a MUCH larger scale than Sun and Moon.

Pokémon Winds and Waves (current leaked title, but subject to change), will take place on a series of islands at a massive scale. In fact, numerous leaks indicate that these games will provide Pokémon fans with the much-anticipated graphical and size upgrades they have been yearning for for years. years.
Reportedly, the Gen 10 Pokémon map will have 18 islands, a deep sea and entire ocean to explore, making it Pokémon‘s largest map yet. These leaks come directly from Centro Leaks, who is known for being incredibly on point with Pokémon leaks in the past.
Gen 10 Pokémon map to include various islands, filled with gyms, temples and more
While this map is no confirmed, it is almost certainly somewhat accurate. With 18 islands, there will be so much to explore. It seems like we are basically getting an official Windwaker version of Pokémon.
And yes, if you are unfamiliar with the size of Pokémon games, 18 islands is quite a bit. The Alola region from Sun and Moon only had four islands, making Gen 10 the franchise’s biggest title yet.
