Necrozma is finally coming to Pokémon GO this summer.

Niantic have revealed the lineup for Raids at the four Pokémon GO Fest 2024 events. This includes the Pokémon GO debut of Necrozma, which will also be available in the shiny form at in person events. This follows an eclipse themed teaser earlier this week.

To coincide with the debut of Necrozma, all other raids will be Ultra Beasts, with one raid still to be revealed.

What are the raids at Pokémon GO Fest 2024?

The following Pokémon will appear in raids at Pokémon GO Fest 2024:

  • Guzzlord
  • Nihilego
  • Xurkitree
  • Kartana
  • Pheromosa
  • Buzzwole
  • Celesteela
  • Necrozma
  • ??? (TBA)

Which Ultra Beast Raids will be at each Pokémon GO Fest 2024 events?

Go Fest Sendai
Go Fest Madrid
Go Fest NYC
Go Fest Global
XurkitreeYes (Shiny debut)NoNoYes
PhermosaNoYes (Shiny debut)NoYes
BuzzwoleNoNoYes (Shiny debut)Yes

The only Ultra Beast not available to all trainers at Go Fest Global is Guzzlord. The rest, including the three shiny debuts of Xurkitree, Pheromosa and Buzzwole will all be available at Go Fest Global.

Who is the mystery Ultra Beast?

The outstanding question is, who is the Pokémon currently represented by ??? in the Raid schedule. There is only three unreleased Ultra Beasts left in Pokémon GO. One, Naganadel, is an evolution of Poipole who was released this season. That makes them an unlikely raid candidate for GO Fest.

The other two, Stakataka and Blacephalon could both well be the missing piece. While a lot of Trainers are assuming ??? is the same Pokémon, that might not be the case.

Both of these unreleased Ultra Beasts could release at GO Fest. This is an Ultra Beast themed event, during an Ultra Beast themed season. When better for Niantic to drop these Pokémon?

Perhaps one will be at the three in-person events, with the other debuting at Go Fest Online. However, this is all speculation until Niantic release the full and complete Pokémon GO Fest 2024 Raids line-up. Don't forget the Raid Lover ticket makes reference to Mega Raids, too.
