Get to know more about the latest changes in the Pet Release in the newest update in Adopt Me!

For Adopt Me!’s February 21 update, several changes were made for the Pet Releaser feature, giving a new set of rewards for those who have some extra pets to spare.

The giant heart from the Valentine’s Heartbreak Event is replaced by the Pet Releaser area, which was temporarily moved from the Nursery. Throughout this update, pet lovers can head straight to the new Pet Releaser by clicking on the Task Board logo on the left side of the screen.

Apart from the new Pet Releaser, here’s a complete list of patch notes that players should look forward to while playing Adopt Me!

The main focus of the Pet Releaser Update in Roblox's Adopt Me! is releasing as many pets as you can to collect tickets. The higher the rarity of the released pet, the more tickets you’ll get.

Interact with Tom, the NPC located in the new Pet Releaser area, to open the Pet Release window and select which pets you want to let go. Keep in mind that released pets cannot be recovered, so make sure every pet you choose is one you’re absolutely certain you want to part with.

Here’s a table containing all rarity types in Adopt Me! with their corresponding ticket rewards. Releasing a Neon or Mega Neon pet of any rarity grants a Ticket multiplier, awarding 20x Tickets for Neon pets and 100x Tickets for Mega Neon pets.

In addition to the Neon and Mega Neon Ticket multipliers, you can also receive a bonus 300 Tickets if the pet you release has a Fly Potion attached and another 150 Tickets if the pet has a Ride Potion attached.

How to farm Tickets in Adopt Me's new Pet Releaser!

If you want to get multiple Dire Wolves or even that pricey Giant Panda, you can keep farming Bucks and buying cheap pet eggs like the Cracked Egg at the Nursery.

The more Cracked Eggs you hatch, the faster you can work toward creating Neon Pets, which can reward you with around 2,000 to 2,500 Tickets each.

While rarer pets grant higher Ticket payouts, you may have better odds by consistently farming Common and Uncommon pets of the same species to evolve them into Neon versions more efficiently.

Behind Tom are the rewards that you can get in exchange for the Tickets you acquired from the Pet Releaser. One of which is the new pet, Dire Wolf, and another is the limited-edition Giant Panda, which was last released in September 2025.

For the Pet Releaser Update, the game didn’t introduce any new eggs. The main eggs featured in this update are the Basic Egg and the Crystal Egg, which were previously available at the old Pet Releaser inside the Nursery.
