
FaZe Clan wins the RLCS Winter Invitational
Here are the winners, recaps, and rankings of the RLCS 2022-23 Winter Invitational for the NA, MENA and OCE regions.
The last half of the RLCS 2022-23 Winter regionals are finally over after a month of intense battles. The Winter Invitational cemented the final invites for the upcoming San Diego Winter Major that is happening soon.
Here's a look at the winners, a recap of the events, and rankings for the RLCS Winter Cup for North America (NA), Middle East & North Africa (MENA), and Oceania (OCE) regions.
FaZe Clan claims another Winter regional win
The NA team had an amazing performance last Winter Cup when we see FaZe Clan dominates the qualifier. With a full boost, they went into the last qualifier of the Winter season ready to compete. They then defeated Gen.G Mobil1 Racing in the quarterfinals, marking the first time Gen.G will miss the grand finals after their debut.
FaZe Clan then met up with G2 Esports in the grand final and took them down confidently with a 4:1 score. This is their third regional win in the RLCS 2022-23 season.
RLCS Winter Major teams
With the end of the Winter regionals, the RLCS NA Winter Ranking is finalized. The top five teams will represent the NA region in the San Diego Winter Major. They are FaZe Clan, Gen.G Mobil1 Racing, Complexity Gaming, G2 Esports, and Dignitas.

Rule One once again defeated the MENA power Team Falcons
Previously known as KRN, the Saudi Arabian team was acquired by Rule One in the Fall season. They had disrupted Team Falcons earlier in the season with a win against the powerhouse in the MENA Fall Open. Rule One faced Team Falcons for the fifth time in the grand finals, this time securing them a second qualifier win.
Unfortunately for Rule One, their victory is not enough to snatch the invites to the RLCS Winter Major. As Team Falcons stays on top of the RLCS Winter Major, they will be representing MENA this April in the second major of the season.

Pioneers takes down Ground Zero Gaming
Pioneers has been in two grand finals against Ground Zero Gaming this Winter season. They ended in second place for both qualifiers. This time in the Winter Invitational, they faced Ground Zero Gaming in an intense seven-game grand final. They take their second regional win of the season with a score of 4:3.
Pioneers joins Ground Zero Gaming at the top of the RLCS Winter Ranking, securing invites to the RLCS Winter Major in April.
