Rocket League esports teams start a new chapter of the current competitive season. North America features battles of well-known favorites and a few brave underdogs.

The previous Major tournament in Birmingham clearly demonstrated the true power of the North American Rocket League. Also, we could see that the competitive intrigue is still here! Two teams from this region played in the semifinal, NRG and The Ultimates. And it wasn’t the local powerhouse, NRG / G2 Stride, who won that battle.

That story is interesting, but it’s over. Starting RLCS 2025 Split 2 means the teams have potentially equal chances to prove their mettle and qualify for the Raleigh Major.

Sure, the same set of favorites is here, including NRG, The Ultimates, Gen.G, and Complexity Gaming. However, quite a few smaller teams have also advanced to the Group stage of  RLCS 2025 NA Open 4.

Could the first open qualifier of Split 2 demonstrate the real season restart or do we follow the same script as in Split 1, with familiar names on the top? The Rocket League esports matches gave the answer!

Everything about RLCS 2025 NA Open 4 is here: stream, list of participants, some details, and final results.

Playoffs results: Who wins RLCS 2025 Open 4 in North America

Rocket League battles become especially tough here. Lots of RLCS 2025 points are at stake, and earning them this early is a nice boost in the NA regional standings.

Here are the RLCS 2025 Open 4 Playoff matchups. Gen.G vs NRG was a super interesting match! Gen.G won, and they even had a 9:2 score in game 5. Spacestation Gaming couldn't defeat Complexity, so they also fell to the lower brackets.

The Ultimates won their round 1 match, and they face NRG in the lower quarterfinal. That match turned out to be the start of a redemption arc of NRG. In a very close Rocket League esports battle, NRG won and advanced to the semifinal. After that, the team enjoyed three 4:0 victories.

NRG are the Open 4 winners. It's a great start of RLCS 2025 Split 2.
