It’s time when the competition gets extremely serious: we enter the playoffs stage at the Rocket League Championship Series 2025 (RLCS 2025) Raleigh Major. The top eight teams start playing in front of the crowd, and the emotions power up the esports excitement — even on the streams.
After four matches of Day 1, some teams advance to the semifinals. One more successful step, and they are in the grand final. On the other side of the brackets, two teams leave the Rocket League Raleigh Major.
In addition to the classic 3v3 team competition, this tournament day featured the 1v1 final: between diaz from Complexity Gaming and Nwpo from Twisted Minds. Nwpo won in a pretty dominant way, so he faces Mawkzy in the 1v1 World Championship.

Twisted Minds eliminate Karmine Corp!
The RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major started with a sensational match! Not only did Twisted Minds treated us to a great Rocket League, but they also eliminated Karmine Corp, one of the biggest tournament favorites.
It was a back-and-forth battle, with some mind-blowing moments. In game 1, the teams played +4:41 mins of overtime, and then KC scored the only goal. In game 3, Karmine Corp won with a 5:0.
After losing three games in a row, Twisted Minds finally woke up — and they preformed an amazing reverse sweep. With a 3:4, Twisted Minds advance to the lower quarterfinals. They play against NRG.
Team Secret advances further. Gentle Mates are out
In the parallel lower brackets, the Brazilian team proved their power on the international Rocket League esports scene.
Gentle Mates Alpine won game 1 after a short overtime. Then, Secret hit a three-game streak. They needed only to seal the deal.

Vitality and Falcons dominate upper brackets
There was little chances for NRG and Dignitas in the upper quarterfinals of the RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major. The opponents were much stronger that day!
Falcons went as far as delivering 5:0 in game 2. Dignitas managed to score only in game 3, and they finished the entire series with two goals only.
Team Vitality entered their champions mode, and NRG could do almost nothing about that.
Game 1 was pretty close, and Vitality won only in overtime. But then, we could witness three very different Rocket League esports games: Vitality were all over the field, while NRG struggled to score even once.
