After the initial Swiss stage of RLCS World Championship 2024, only eight teams remained at the tournament, fighting for the ultimate victory. Each and every Playoff match was important, as any misstep was a risk of elimination.

- An underdog story of success continues for Oxygen Esports. After eliminating Team Vitality from the tournament in the Swiss Stage, they did the same with Gentle Mates Alpine, the Copenhagen Major winners. The match started great for OXG, but M8 were close to recovering in the middle of the series. The last game showed how strong Oxygen Esports really are at RLCS Worlds 2024.

- FURIA Esports won three starting games in the series against Spacestation Gaming, but then the opponents struck back. The memories of the reverse sweep from BDS that happened earlier today started hunting FURIA. In the decisive game, they did not let that happen again. FURIA Esports won and eliminated Spacestation Gaming from the Rocket League World Championship 2024.

- Both teams had such great defense in this match that scoring was a super difficult task. Still, Team BDS and G2 Stride won games and took the series to the decisive one. Throughout the Rocket League intensity, Team BDS got the final goal in overtime — they proceed to the Preliminary Final. G2 face FURIA Esports in the semi.

- Karmine Corp players were super close to a reverse sweep in the match vs G2 Stride. After winning three starting games, G2 suddenly couldn’t get that one final point. But in the very final game, G2 Stride continued their ride to success. Karmine Corp have been sent home. G2 Stride proceed to the grand final!

- This RLCS Worlds 2024 semi-final was very similar to the previous. One team won three starting games in quite a confident way. This time, it’s Team BDS. Then the other team recovered and took the series to game 7. It’s Team Falcons here. But eventually, the first team still wins. Team BDS is in the grand final, facing G2 Stride again. Team Falcons left the tournament.

- The RLCS World Championship grand final started promising for G2 Stride. They won game 1 with five goals scored to just nothing. But then, Team BDS found his pace. After a few well-played games, Team BDS won the series and the whole tournament.
All Rocket League teams at World Championship 2024
The tournament started from the Swiss stage, where 16 Rocket League esports teams battled for the Playoff qualification. Eight of them can proceed to the final brackets.
- G2 Stride — The London Major winners. The team won all three matches in the Swiss stage.
- Team Falcons — With no losses in the Swiss stage, Falcons were 2nd at the London Major and Rocket League Esports World Cup 2024.
- FURIA Esports — In the Swiss stage, FURIA lost only to Falcons. They were 3rd-4th at the London Major.
- Karmine Corp — Their only lost match in the Swiss stage was against FURIA. KC were 3rd-4th at the Copenhagen Major and Worlds 2022-23.
- Team BDS — The EWC 2024 winners. In the RLCS World Championship 2024 Swiss stage, BDS lost one match to Team Falcons.
- Gentle Mates Alpine — The EU's #1 seed lost twice in the Swiss stage, to two other European teams: BDS and G2. M8 are winners of the Copenhagen Major.
- Oxygen Esports — The American team lost to BDS and Karmine Corp in the Swiss stage. But Oxygen eliminated the World Champions 2023 from the tournament, Team Vitality.
- Spacestation Gaming — The team lost to FURIA Esports and Karmine Corp in the Swiss stage. SSG were 5th-8th at the London Major and EWC 2024.
