Will IShowSpeed switch to Twitch following his ban on YouTube?
Recent rumors have surfaced online that IShowSpeed may be planning on making a switch from YouTube to Twitch, following his recent YouTube ban. How true, though, are these rumors? Will the creator actually make a switch from the platform where he has the most followers?
IShowSpeed banned from YouTube. Will he switch to Twitch?
Recently, the popular YouTuber IShowSpeed posted videos of himself jumping over a moving car. And yes, the creator was successful in these stunts. Not only did he post a video of him jumping over one car, but he posted a second video where he jumped over two cars, back-to-back.
YouTube then temporarily banned the creator for his antics, saying it was promoting harmful activity. While the stunt was definitely risky, Speed had no intentions of encouraging his viewers to try the same.
Still, this does not change the fact that the creator was banned from his main platform. So, will he now switch to Twitch?

While his YouTube ban was not indefinite, IShowSpeed is still one of the biggest creators on that platform. It would seem that the streamer took the ban quite personally, as he did make it noted that he could see himself switching to Twitch now.
So, yes. Speed may possibly make the switch to Twitch. All of this is just speculation from the creator, though, as he has not made any choices. He could easily decide to stay on YouTube once his ban is lifted. Or he could leave forever. Only time will tell.
Would this hurt YouTube?
While YouTube is a massive platform with millions of creators uploading weekly, it still would take somewhat of a hit if it lost IShowSpeed. The creator is easily one of the biggest currently on YouTube, where he not only posts videos, but also live streams to a massive audience.
As YouTube continues to try and grow its live streaming side, losing a streamer like Speed could be bad for the platform.
While nothing is set in stone yet, Speed's next move is being anticipated by many fans.
