He stepped on the accelerator too hard.

IShowSpeed's first stream in his Asian tour didn't go exactly as planned as he got in a car crash in the very first minutes of the IRL stream in Thailand on Sept. 9.

The North American was driving an auto rickshaw, popularly known as baby taxi and tuk-tuk, when he lost control of the vehicle and hit the wall of a temple. Everybody watching from home got a bad feeling as IShowSpeed stepped on the accelerator too hard, and inevitably crashed the car after less than 10 seconds. You can see the clip by yourself by clicking the video below (timestamp of 15:19).

What were the consequences of IShowSpeed's car accident in Thailand?

Fortunately for IShowSpeed, the distance between the starting point and the temple wall was so short that he didn't injure himself too much in the car crash. His friends assisted him right after, and all he got in the end was a bit of a head bruise.

The stream carried on as normal and approximately one hour later IShowSpeed got on board of another auto rickshaw, but he didn't drive again and just took the passenger seat instead. It's currently unclear how much he'll have to pay to fix the tuk-tuk he crashed.

What is IShowSpeed doing in Thailand anyway?

If you haven't been keeping up with IShowSpeed's streams as of recently, you might be asking yourself what was he doing in Thailand. The North American streamer is currently making a tour across Asia and will take part in the Gumball 3000 rally, which goes from Saigon to Singapore.

IShowSpeed, however, won't complete the whole rally, so all of us will have to keep following his IRL streams to know what else he'll do in Thailand.

That's all for now. However, stay tuned to esports.gg for more streamer news and updates.
