QTCinderella is receiving some hate after announcing the Streamer Awards 2025 nominees. Ludwig, MrBeast, and more came to her defense.

The nominees for the Streamer Awards 2025 have been announced, and some fans and content creators are accusing QTCinderella of rigging the event. Many names quickly came to her defense, including her partner, Ludwig "Ludwig" Ahgren, and Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson.

QTCinderella's Streamer Awards "rigged," say many

The Streamer Awards 2025 nominees have been announced across its 35 categories. The nominees were decided by a fan vote. Naturally, many fans were dismayed that their favorite content creators weren't included. Some streamers themselves became doubtful of the nomination's integrity.

Zachariah "Asmongold" Hoyt is one of these streamers, going so far as to offer money to QTCinderella to prove she is not lying about the nomination process. This was in response to QT saying that "turns out, [the audience of problematic streamers] doesn't show up," when questioned why certain content creators weren't among the nominees.

Many have also noted the absence of Kick streamers from the event.

Understandably, QTCinderella has been in distress after receiving a wave of toxicity. QT's partner and fellow streamer Ludwig quickly came to her defense and rallied support for her and the event.

every year I see first hand how much time, effort, and passion qt devotes to the streamer awards

and every year she gets sh*t from every corner of the internet that feels they deserve more

I know it’s not possible to please everyone- but if you’re like me and inspired by the work she puts in and thinks it makes streaming a better space- don’t be afraid to be more vocal about it!!!

This post garnered over 1 million views in just under 12 hours, and many in the replies gave QTCinderella her laurels. The quotes were a little more divided, though, with some expressing support for the event while others calling the Streamer Awards a "friend group show."

Content creator MrBeast responded, saying how online content and creators have grown over the years, and that the same issues occurred with YouTube back when they did Rewinds.

The nomination process wasn't the only source of distasteful behavior from the online space.

A clip from Deshae Frost during the nominee reveal has him telling QT to "shut the f**k up." Her response is the thread below.
