OTK signs ExtraEmily as their newest content creator

The announcement of OTK and ExtraEmily comes after a rough few months for the content organization, with three of its original members resigning.

It appears that the king's court is expanding to fit yet another king. The content organization OTK, or One True Kings, announced ExtraEmily as their latest content creator. This comes off the heels of an announcement earlier in the day that streaming star Emiru is now a co-owner of the org.

Given the controversy surrounding OTK in the past few months the dual-announcements of beloved, female creators is a breath of fresh air for fans and the peanut gallery alike.

OTK all day, every day

The streamer gained rapid recognition after winning the second season of Schooled, a game show event (similar to ‘Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?’) organized by OTK Mizkif. She was crowned the winner after fellow contestant EEvisu admitted to cheating in the show. Emily won $50,000 as prize money.

She said that she’d swap the prize money for a trip to hang out with Mizkif in Austin, Texas but he was happy to get her the tickets anyway.

After some co-streams with Mizkif, her community received a massive boost. Over the course of 2022, she grew her stream to the point where she’d regularly get over 2000 consistent viewers. She mostly streams speedrun attempts at games and IRL travel content. OTK revealed the newest member of the content organization towards the tail-end of a shareholders' meeting.

Apart from signing on as a content creator, ExtraEmily will also host her own game show sometime later in the year. The game show, called ‘Wheel of Chaos,’ is an IRL show. Three contestants will go head-to-head in a free-for-all battle of intelligence using the giant wheel of chaos.

ExtraEmily celebrated the announcement with a karaoke celebration with fellow OTK members Nymplol and Asmongold. As for OTK, her signing comes as a ray of hope after months of tumultuous events.

Two members of OTK were accused of sexual assault or association with it. While Mizkif was acquitted, Rich Campbell resigned. Two more members, Jschaltt and BruceDropEmOff, also announced their resignations, though these were under different circumstances. Is this enough positive press to get /r LiveStreamFails to move on? Only time will tell.
