Gymshark announced today a partnership with content creator Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter to maker her a Global Ambassador for the brand.

Valkyrae is one of the most recognizable names across all esports and social media. She experienced her come-up as a Twitch streamer. Since then, she’s broken barriers in the gaming scene. Today, the 30-year-old content creator announced her latest venture. Valkyrae has become a Global Ambassador of British activewear company Gymshark.

The announcement is significant in size, both physically and metaphorically, as seen in Valkyrae’s tweet above. She made the trek to New York City to pose in front of a massive Gymshark advertisement. “Game changing,” reads the billboard, which is an understatement. This Gymshark deal accurately portrays how far Valkyrae has come since starting a career in content creation.

According to Forbes, Gymshark was valued at over £1 billion in 2021. Now, Valkyrae can be seen all over Gymshark's website. However, it’s not the first time the apparel has worked in the esports scene. In 2015, Gymshark sponsored the World Champion OpTic Gaming roster. It’s Valkyrae’s time in the spotlight for the athletic wear company.

For the 100 Thieves co-owner, this partnership represents more than just another income stream. It marks redemption following last year’s infamous RFLCT skincare line—a company linked to Valkyrae. RFLCT received backlash for its claims that blue light can be detrimental to a person’s skin. Valkyrae is now grabbing headlines across the industry as a Global Ambassador for Gymshark.

Content creators congratulate Valkyrae on Twitter

Following the Gymshark announcement, the phrase “PROUD OF VALKYRAE” trended on Twitter with more than 1,000 tweets. Furthermore, fellow content creators CouRageJD, QuarterJade, NICKMERCS, Corpse Husband, Bella Poarch, and many more rallied around Valkyrae during her latest shining moment.

“You are literally the coolest girl I know rae,” wrote QuarterJade on Twitter. Others dropped a simple “W,” signifying how much of a win this moment is for the 30-year-old content creator.

There’s no telling what more is on the horizon for Valkyrae, who has rapidly become a household name in gaming, esports, and now as a representative for Gymshark.
