Leshar wins Evo France 2025: A wonderful season for the great player!
Leshar entered Evo France as one of the favorites. He has two top-level tournament wins this year, and Leshar is a treat in any event he participates in.
In France, Leshar demonstrated the power of his Ed once again. On the way to the ultimate win, he defeated Tokido, kobayan, and Blaz.
Leshar stumbled in the grand final and even pulled out his Elena. Still, it was Ed again who helped Leshar win the decisive grand final reset.
Amazing Blaz: One step away from the title
It's the third big tournament where the young player Blaz surprises the community. He celebrates his 16th birthday in October, and Blaz already was in the grand finals of Capcom Cup 11, EWC 2025, and Evo France 2025.
Blaz entered the top 8 part via the losers brackets. Dual Kevin sent him there in the top 24. To reach the grand final, Blaz eliminated extremely strong opponents, such as Punk and Tokido. Blaz even reset the grand final vs Leshar: but again, he couldn't take this one remaining step to the title.
With this result, Blaz qualified for Capcom Cup 12, as Leshar already has his spot.
Sagat, Elena, and Dhalsim
As for Street Fighter 6 characters at Evo France 2025, we could see the two most DLC additions in the top 8 brackets.
- Blaz played Sagat against Dogura. Then, the guy returned to his more usual picks: Ken and Ryu.
- Elena made it the stage with Dogura and Leshar. She wasn't too successful, though.
It's also interesting to note Dhalsim of Mister Crimson. The player is character loyalist, and he's thriving after the buffs for his yogi fighter.

The final Capcom Cup 12 Premier qualifier is FightClub Championship VI Chengdu, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2. In addition to the direct invites and the global leaderboard, players can qualify from their regional World Warrior Circuit. The number of spots for each region is very limited, though: one for small or two for major ones.
