All Street Fighter 6 DLC characters: Release dates, details, information

Street Fighter 6 launched with 18 characters, a plethora of online and single-player features, and plenty to do. But in the modern era of fighting games, new DLC characters are what everyone craves. Sometimes because their favorite fighter didn’t make the launch roster, and sometimes because they just need something new to sate their appetite. Anyway, here’s all the DLC characters currently announced for Street Fighter 6, their release dates, and more!

Here’s a list of all current Street Fighter 6 DLC characters along with their announced and expected release dates:

Rashid, the parkour-wielding social media star is set to arrive in Street Fighter 6 on July 24, just ahead of EVO 2023. Rashid was one of the primary protagonists of SFV, his debut game, and quickly became a fan favorite. He also has the honor of being the first SF6 DLC character!

A.K.I. is a new character for SF6 with scant details. She's assumed to have some kind of relation to F.A.N.G due to their similar naming convention and Chinese origins. This means that we might be getting a new poison character in SF6, relying on close range strikes, with long damage-over-time. As revealed on August 30, A.K.I will be released on September 27.

Ed was another new addition to Street Fighter V, but a popular one. His Psycho Boxing style will make him one of two users of Psycho power in SF6 along with JP. With a Winter 2024 release, don't expect Ed in the game until at least January 2024.

Akuma is a Street Fighter staple, although he's finally looking a little older, which nicely matches the grown-up Ken and Ryu of Street Fighter 6. Sporting white hair, and looking even more hench than usual, Akuma will be just the third Ansatsuken fighter in SF6, and the first to tap into the Satsui no Hado.

There are a number of ways to get the DLC characters in Street Fighter 6. The first is with the season pass, which will unlock all four of the first year of fighters automatically on release. The next is to purchase them with Fighter Coins when they release.

It's currently unknown which other DLC characters will appear in SF6. We've already seen that some classic fighters, such as Hugo, Vega, and others have been featured in background images and mentioned in lore. In the World Tour, a lot of Street Fighter Characters were also featured in images and flashbacks when speaking to masters, including C.Viper and Decapre. But whether these fighters will join the roster remains to be seen!
