Player expectations for the Set 8 Mid-Set Finale

Here's what some of our competitors had to say about the upcoming competition.

BC Socks

BC Socks is a player who is consistently at the top of the North American ladder while juggling a full-time job and parenthood. He has been a mainstay in competitive Teamfight Tactics since Set 3 and heralded as one of the most flexible and creative minds to play the game.

At multiple times of his career, he's been considered the best in North America, representing the region at both Set 3 Galaxies and Set 4 Fates World Championships.

He recently detailed his confidence going into the event.

"However, just when I've given up and started playing for fun. I suddenly realized by enjoying TFT, I've become the best again. [...] This time, I have a few edges and techs over everyone else, and I'm going to try not to leak most of it. Going into midset, I know I'm the best."

Stellar Minhee

Stellar Minhee is an up-and-coming talent in the North American Teamfight Tactics competitive scene. A high-challenger player starting from Set 5.5 and 6.5, Stellar Minhee really burst into the competitive scene in Set 7.

He made it to the final day of both the Astral Cup and Jade Cup as well as the second day of the Set 7 Dragonlands Mid-Set Finale. In the most recent competition, Corrupted Cup, Stellar Minhee also earned his way to the final day of competition, making it to the top 16 before being eliminated.

Stellar Minhee recently sat down with Gangly to talk about his competitive history and expectations going into this weekend's tournament.

"I'm expecting to at least make it to Day 2 again, just like last set. [...] It's already been achieved before for me; it's nothing new. I should be able to at least do the same thing, if not better."
