The Monsters Attack! Championship starts tomorrow. Here’s everything to know about the competitors, format, prize pool, and more.

The Monsters Attack! Championship, also known as the Set 8 TFT World Championship, starts tomorrow and features 32 competitors around the world vying for the winning title and $150,000 USD.

In case you need a refresher, these are the participants of the Monsters Attack! Championship by region.

Format

The Monsters Attack! Championship will take place across three days, with all the competitors guaranteed to play on the first two days. Points will be distributed from 8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 for first through eighth place respectively. Games will be played on patch 13.10.

Day 1

  • All 32 players split into four lobbies and play 6 games total
  • Lobbies shuffle after Game 3
  • All players compete Day 2 and points from Day 1 carry over

Day 2

  • All 32 players split into four lobbies and play six games total
  • Lobbies shuffle after Game 3
  • Top eight players in points after Day 1 and 2 advance to Day 3

Day 3

  • Points reset, checkmate format
  • Monsters Attack: Champion will be the first player to reach 18 points and then win a game

Prize pool

All 32 players will have a cut of the $456,000 USD prize pool. Below is the distribution of the prize pool for the top eight players:

  • 1st: $150,000
  • 2nd: $75,000
  • 3rd: $25,000
  • 4th: $20,000
  • 5th: $14,000
  • 6th: $13,000
  • 7th: $12,000
  • 8th: $11,000
