At the Apple event in September, fans can also expect the new iOS 18 update that was announced in June 2024. With RCS messaging making its way to Apple devices, it is indeed a marquee moment for Apple fans. The interoperability of RCS messaging ensures Apple users can connect with their Android counterparts in a more seamless way.

Apple Watch is now in its tenth iteration and it will be interesting to see how the tech company names the latest watch version. For the iPhone, Apple surprised everyone by naming it iPhone X almost seven years ago.

There are reports of Apple potentially unveiling two Airpods instead of the usual one per year according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The lower variant would feature USB-C charging and a new look. The pricier variant might see Active Noise cancellation which would be a welcome step for audio lovers. The other option for ANC are the Apple Airpods Pro which are costlier and might be out of budget for a large section of Apple lovers.
