We’re sorry to say, but you aren’t going to get your hands on an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 or 5090, as they’ve sold out in an instant.

In rather shocking, or not so much fashion, Nividia's new graphics cards are out of stock. Both the GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090 were sold out in a matter of seconds at all major retailers. So, congratulations if you got one and sorry about your luck if you didn't.

Gamers all around the world were waiting in online queues, hoping their number was pulled in lotteries, and trying to beat out scalpers. The sheer demand saw both sets of graphic cards gone in the blink-of-an-eye and that's that.

It was known beforehand that supplies were not going to meet demand. Nvidia warned customers that both new graphics cards would be low in stock. Some sellers even delayed their own launch of the cards, while third-party manufacturers increased prices to take advantage of eager buyers.

From Best Buy and Walmart to Newgg and Micro Center, not a single new RTX 5080 or 5090 can be found. If you've got a wad of cash to waste, however, head on over to eBay where you'll find plenty of resellers with outrageous pricing.

One listing for the 5090 Founders Edition has a bidding price at around $6,500 USD while the Buy It Now price is just about $10,000. We all knew this was going to happen, and unfortunately, there never seems to be a way to prevent it.

When will the Nvidia RTX 5080 and 5090 be back in stock?

To answer the above question, who knows? Your best bet now is to keep your eyes on Nvidia and retailer social media pages. They'll detail any sort of restock, but you can be rest assured they'll probably move just as fast as the original launch.

There also might be some availability through PC builders who are dishing out prebuilt systems with the RTX 5080 or 5090 in place. While supplies last, of course. If you're on the hunt for these generational graphic cards, we wish you the best of luck.
