Erik "aspas" Santos had expressed his desire to leave the Argentinian team Leviatán before, but now seems to be advancing. According to the Brazilian esports website VSpace, aspas decided to leave Leviatán and is already in negotiations with other teams.
Contract Clauses
Aspas signed a two-year contract with Leviatán in 2023, which means that the Argentinian team will only let aspas transfer to another team if another team pays the termination clause (those values are unknown) or if aspas stays in the team until the end of his contract, which he already said it was not going to happen. But when did this conflict between aspas and Leaviatán start?
Dissatisfaction with Leviatán's organization
At the beginning of this month, aspas talked about his dissatisfaction with the Argentinian team's organization, especially about the team not taking into consideration his opinions about sporting decisions (this could be about the hiring of new players, coaches, etc.). Leviatán denies this information saying that they took aspas opinion in diverse situations.
