The new Valorant team is all set to compete in the Challengers open qualifiers.
Disguised Toast has finally revealed his Valorant roster along with the team name. The new roster, led by Joshua "steel" Nissan will compete in the VCT Challengers Open qualifiers starting Jan 9.
After announcing his intentions to field a pro team in the Valorant Championship Tour, Disguised Toast has finally signed all five players. The team’s name, which was a mystery till recently, has also been unveiled as DSG, short for Disguised.
What is Disguised Toast’s Valorant team?
The YouTube streamer’s Valorant team roster includes the following players:
- Joshua "steel" Nissan
- Drake "Exalt" Branly
- Damion "XXiF" Cook
- Amgalan "Genghsta" Nemekhbayar
- Joseph "clear" Allen
Nissan is the most experienced player on the squad. The retired Counter-Strike player made a name for himself after he switched to Valorant having played for 100 Thieves in 2020 and T1 esports in 2021. However, after Riot’s franchising push, he has not signed with any of the franchised teams. It is not revealed he will compete as part of Team DSG in the open qualifiers.
Exalt, XXif and Genghsta were a part of the Knights organization in Valorant. However, after Knights stepped back to focus on Challengers, the players were left looking for a new org to call home.

It all started with a tweet
On Oct. 31, 2023, Disguised Toast asked his followers on Twitter for recommendations on unsigned Valorant players. While many followers thought it was a joke, the YouTube streamer was serious about forming a Valorant team.
Late last year, he also revealed he had already made a new company and signed a few players. He had not revealed the players he had signed at the time, but the excitement amongst his followers was palpable.
Disguised Toast’s Valorant team will hope to rise through the Challengers league and reach Ascension via the open qualifiers. With an experienced player such as Steel at the helm and the impressive firepower on the squad, this roster has the potential to turn some heads.
The VCT Challengers open qualifiers kick off on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, and will continue for five days. There is a second “last chance” qualifier that runs through Jan. 17-21, 2023.
