Ava “florescent” Eugene has made a statement in her VALORANT Game Changers LAN debut, breaking multiple records at the championship event.
Ava "florescent" Eugene has been a demon at the VCT Game Changers Championship 2023. It is her LAN debut, and with Shopify Rebellion, she has broken records. During the middle of the Grand Final, florescent broke the record for most kills in a single series in VALORANT Game Changers LAN history.
And in the first map, she broke the record for the most kills in a single GC map ever. The Grand Final is still happening at the time of writing, so expect the first record mentioned to extend even further, win or lose.
florescent breaks VALORANT Game Changers single map kill record
The first record that florescent has broken in VALORANT is the single most kills in a map. On Haven against Team Liquid in the Grand Final, the two teams fought to overtime. Shopify Rebellion won it 14:12 in the end, with florescent top fragging.
She ended Haven with a KDA of 35/16/4. Those 35 kills are four more than Lorrian "Lorri" Elad's from the year prior. In 2022, Lorri was on Shopify and put up 31 kills on Pearl against Guild's Game Changers team in the Upper Quarterfinals.

Breaking the overall GC LAN record for kills in a single series
Originally, the most kills in a single Game Changer series was in the Grand Final of the 2022 championship tournament. It also went to five maps, just like the 2023 Grand Final. Former Shopify player Kayla "flowerful" Horton put up 89 kills against G2 Gozen.
Now, against Team Liquid, florescent has demolished that VALORANT record. It happened in map four on Sunset. In that map, florescent finished with 18 kills. While TL won the map to force a fifth, florescent broke by surpassing the 89 kills. At the end, she had 94 and counting in the series.
UPDATE: With the Grand Final over and Shopify Rebellion your 2023 champions, florescent sets the GC LAN single series kill record with 112.
