Rumors had been circulating around this NAVI roster ever since they were confirmed as being one of the inaugural franchise teams for the 2023 season back in September 2022. Now it would seem that NAVI have judged this to be the right time to reveal a roster which is sure to carry them far this season.
Here is the full NAVI Roster for the upcoming VCT 2023 Season:
- Kyrylo "Ange1" Karasov (IGL)
- Andrey "Shao" Kiprsky
- Dmitry "Suygetsu" Ilyushin
- Pontus "Zyppan" Eek
- Mehmet Yagiz "cNed" Ipek
Per their announcement video, NAVI have managed to acquire the bulk of the highly coveted FunPlus Phoenix roster from last season. A season which saw FPX take the Valorant world by storm on their way to claiming the Master 2 title in Copenhagen as well a Top 4 finish at Valorant Champions 2022. Though they now find themselves without their star sniper Ardiis, they have found a more than adequate replacement for him in the form of Mehmet Yagiz "cNed" Ipek.
The Turkish sensation was one of the best players in the world during the 2021 VCT Season. It was during that time that he made a name for himself as being one of the best Jett players in the world; efforts which led to him lifting the Valorant Champions title with Acend in 2021.
Despite his struggles in the 2022 season, cNed brings a lot of versatility to the NAVI roster. And if he can rediscover his form from the 2021 season, then this NAVI team has the potential to do serious damage in the forthcoming 2023 season.
